About this course
Compliance Essentials for the Modern Workplace is a 10-hour CPD course that teaches non-specialists what compliance actually asks of them day to day, and how to meet it without slowing the business down.
The course runs as four weekly live online sessions of 1.5 hours with a qualified trainer, covering What compliance is and who owns it; Reading your own risk; Handling questions and incidents; and Making it stick. Between sessions learners work through worksheets and workplace scenarios, about 50 hours of learning in total, and the course is assessed by a 1,500-word written assignment applied to their own workplace. Learners who pass receive a certificate for 10 CPD hours.
It is designed for floor managers who run day-to-day operations, HR and office managers who inherit compliance duties without a compliance background, team leads and supervisors responsible for how the rules get met and owner-managers of SMEs who need a dependable compliance baseline.
