About this course
Cybersecurity Awareness for the Hybrid Workplace is a 10-hour CPD course that turns ordinary staff into a competent first line of defence. It covers the real threats employees face, how to spot them, and the everyday habits that keep data and systems safe across office and home.
The course runs as four weekly live online sessions of 1.5 hours with a qualified trainer, covering The threats that reach you; Passwords and access; Working securely anywhere; and When something goes wrong. Between sessions learners work through worksheets and workplace scenarios, about 50 hours of learning in total, and the course is assessed by a 1,500-word written assignment applied to their own workplace. Learners who pass receive a certificate for 10 CPD hours.
It is designed for all employees who handle data or devices, managers responsible for the security habits of their team, remote and hybrid staff working outside the office network and SMEs without a dedicated security function.
