The CPD Accreditation Bureau is pleased to announce that Keelwell Academy has been awarded CPD accreditation for its complete programme of workplace mental health and wellbeing training. All three of its live online courses have met every criterion of our Accreditation Standard, so its entire programme now carries the Bureau mark.
It is a significant moment. Mental health at work has moved from a welfare topic to a leadership priority, and employers are under growing pressure to show that the training they buy is more than good intentions. Accreditation gives them that assurance.
Three courses, eight accredited CPD hours
Keelwell Academy's accredited programme covers the people side of mental health at work, from the manager's conversation to the individual's own resilience:
- Leading for Mental Health (CPDAB-A-2026-0011, 3 CPD hours). Gives managers the confidence to notice when someone is struggling, start the conversation and point them to the right support, without stepping into the role of therapist.
- Beating Burnout (CPDAB-A-2026-0012, 2.5 CPD hours). Explains what burnout really is, how it differs from everyday stress, and what people and teams can change to prevent it and recover from it.
- Resilience and Stress at Work (CPDAB-A-2026-0013, 2.5 CPD hours). Builds the everyday skills people need to stay steady under pressure, bounce back from setbacks and keep performing through change.
All three are delivered live online by an experienced facilitator, with practical exercises, a digital workbook and a personal action plan.
What the assessment looked at
Every activity we accredit is assessed against the same eight published criteria. For Keelwell Academy, our assessor reviewed each course in full:
- Clear learning outcomes. Six observable outcomes per course, each mapped to the module where it is covered.
- Accurate, current content. Grounded in established research and explained in plain language.
- Suitable delivery. Live, interactive sessions with practice, accessible from anywhere.
- Evidence of learning. Practical exercises and a personal action plan that show learning has taken place.
- Competent facilitators. Experienced trainers who deliver every session live.
- Honest CPD hours. Hours calculated on learning time only, excluding breaks.
- Learner support. Clear routes for questions, feedback and concerns.
- Truthful marketing. Clear, accurate descriptions, including that the courses are educational and not a substitute for professional care.
That last point matters. In a field where some training overpromises, Keelwell is clear about what its courses do and do not do. That honesty is exactly what accreditation is there to recognise.
Why this matters for employers
For HR teams and managers choosing wellbeing training, accreditation answers three questions before they are asked. Has someone independent checked the content? Are the hours genuine? Can we prove our people completed it? With Keelwell Academy's accredited courses, the answer to all three is yes.
It also matters to the learners themselves. Many HR, people management and other professionals must log CPD hours every year, and accredited hours with a verifiable certificate are the simplest kind to prove. Our guide Who Needs CPD Hours? explains the requirements in more detail.
