About this course
Leading Remote and Hybrid Teams is a 10-hour CPD course for managers running distributed teams. It covers how to keep output high and trust intact when work happens across homes, offices and time, and how to stop the two-tier culture that hybrid can create.
The course runs as four weekly live online sessions of 1.5 hours with a qualified trainer, covering The hybrid contract; Managing by outcome; Communication that scales; and Trust, culture and fairness. Between sessions learners work through worksheets and workplace scenarios, about 50 hours of learning in total, and the course is assessed by a 1,500-word written assignment applied to their own workplace. Learners who pass receive a certificate for 10 CPD hours.
It is designed for managers of remote, hybrid or split-location teams, team leads coordinating people across time zones, sites and schedules, HR and operations staff shaping hybrid policy and new managers who have only ever led in person.
