About this course
Managing Multicultural Teams is a 10-hour CPD course for managers leading diverse, international teams, which is now the norm in most workplaces. It covers cultural difference in work styles, communication and expectations, and how to turn that mix into a strength.
The course runs as four weekly live online sessions of 1.5 hours with a qualified trainer, covering Culture at work; Adapting your style; Preventing friction; and Shared norms. Between sessions learners work through worksheets and workplace scenarios, about 50 hours of learning in total, and the course is assessed by a 1,500-word written assignment applied to their own workplace. Learners who pass receive a certificate for 10 CPD hours.
It is designed for managers of international or mixed-nationality teams, HR and team leads running multi-language workplaces, leaders integrating new joiners from very different backgrounds and project leads coordinating people across countries.
