About this course
HR sits on a lot of data and often struggles to make it count. This five-week course shows you how to pick the few metrics that matter, clean and analyse them in Excel or Google Sheets, and present them as a clear recommendation. You work on a realistic sample dataset each week, and finish with a one-page people dashboard and a five-minute data story you can take into your next leadership meeting.
The five sessions cover asking the right question, the metrics that matter, spreadsheet skills for HR, your people dashboard and telling the data story. Learners receive a practice dataset and worked spreadsheets, a metric glossary with formulas and a one-page dashboard template, and a certificate for 12.5 CPD hours.
It is designed for HR generalists and business partners, HR coordinators who run monthly reports, reward, talent and people operations specialists and anyone asked to prove the value of HR with numbers.
