About this course
Heads of HR are expected to think like business leaders: connect people plans to growth, defend budgets and set priorities when everything feels urgent. This six-week certificate walks you through building a people strategy from scratch, using your own organisation as the case. You will map the business strategy to workforce needs, choose the few priorities that matter, design an operating model for your HR team and present the result with confidence.
The six sessions cover reading the business strategy, workforce priorities, your HR operating model, money and measures, influencing the top table and your people strategy. Learners receive a people strategy canvas and board paper template, an HR operating model diagnostic and a practice partner from your cohort, and a certificate for 15 CPD hours.
It is designed for heads of HR and HR directors, senior HR business partners stepping up, HR leads in growing companies and people leaders preparing for a CPO role.
